My name is Gemma Román, and I’m an illustrator from warm Sinaloa, México.

My work is very diverse. I focus on children’s books and book cover art, but I also work on commercial illustration for brands and lettering design, among other things. Thanks to my background in graphic design, I love challenges and solving problems, and as an illustrator, I enjoy creating playful, fun characters.

I like spending time with friends and learning new ways to create art. Some of my favorite things include plants, tea, the sea, and my dog, Woody♡.

I’m always open to new projects and creative opportunities.
